PROBLEM:
People who live in locations with warmer climates are more impacted by energy bill increases in the summer months than those who live in cooler climates. Those customers can benefit by having options and ideas to keep their energy bills as low as possible.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY:
We used a proprietary tool to trigger ads based on weather and temperature. In any target geography during warmer periods, our ads were more visible to the customers that needed our client’s messaging the most.

PROOF:
In hotter climate geographies, our client’s customers engaged more with their programs while ads were triggered vs. the ads that were not triggered.

This resulted in higher customer engagement, lower power usage, and lower energy bills for our client’s customers.

PROBLEM:
During chillier periods, people are more prone to turn on their furnaces and other heat sources. During this time of need, some customers realize they needed to refill their propane gas for the season.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY:
We paired our Google Ads campaign with our proprietary tool to trigger ads based on temperature. When the temperature in a specific location dropped below our given threshold, the client’s target audience would receive more prominent ad placement leading to more clicks and conversions.

PROOF:
We generated 295% increase in impressions during cold periods in our target geographies vs non-triggered locations. The cost/conversion was 9% less year over year after implementing our strategy. This resulted 265% more conversions for our clients with the same ad spend.
